What does it mean to defer my enrollment?

If you are accepted into a Smartly class and are unexpectedly not able to dedicate the proper amount of time to the program, you may defer your acceptance by contacting us at support@smart.ly.  You are able to defer a total of two times after your acceptance.  After two deferrals if you are still unable to complete the course you will need to re-apply at a time that better suits your schedule.

Once your deferral is in effect, you will be removed from the Slack group, your progress will be frozen, and you will not be able to take any lessons other than the Business Foundations courses that were available before you were accepted.  Your existing progress will be transferred to your new cohort allowing you to pick up from where you left off.
